The construction of nonlinear optical materials featuring asymmetric transmission of light is of great technological importance for various applications, including optical switching and optical power limiting. A significant challenge is the scalable fabrication of material candidates with good photochemical stability, high optical transmittance, and excellent optical limiting performance. Here, we present a nanocrystallization avenue for constructing hybrid optical limiting materials that exhibit ultrafast and robust optical limiting performance. The experimental results show that the controllable relaxation of a niobate glass may lead to the clustering of Nb-O units and contracting of the bandgap. It results in the notable improvement in nonlinear optical properties, including the enhanced saturation irradiance (380 GW/cm2), doubly increased nonlinear coefficient, and decreased limiting threshold (200 GW/cm2). Our results suggest a promising material that exhibits promising applications for protecting eyes and sensitive components from laser-induced damage. 相似文献

Functional materials exhibiting magnetic and luminescent properties have been recognized as an emerging class of materials with great potential in advanced applications. Herein, properties of multifunctional ceramic composites consisting of two garnets, luminescent cerium-doped Y3Al5O12 (Ce:YAG) and magnetic Y3Fe5O12 (YIG), are reported. On increasing the sintering temperature, both the photoluminescence and saturation magnetization of the Ce:YAG-YIG composites decreased gradually because of the interdiffusion of trivalent ions such as Al3+ and Fe3+. At a constant sintering temperature of 1100?°C, the YIG contents in the composites increased, thereby causing their luminescent properties to degrade and the saturation magnetizations to increase. For application to electronics, Ce:YAG-YIG composite thin films were integrated on quartz substrates by sputtering the ceramic target. The composite thin films exhibited both magnetic and luminescent properties after annealing. These techniques facilitate the incorporation of multifunctional nanocomposites into various devices. 相似文献

Porous polyimide (PI) films with low dielectric constants and excellent thermal properties have been a pressing demand for the next generation of high-performance, miniature, and ultrathin microelectronic devices. A series of novel porous PI films containing fluorenyl-adamantane groups were prepared successfully via thermolysis of poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) added in the PI matrix. The cross-sectional morphologies of porous PI films showed closed pores with diameters ranging from 135 to 158 nm, which were uniform and regular in shape without interconnectivity. These porous PI films exhibited excellent thermal properties with a glass-transition temperature at 376 °C whereas the 5% weight loss temperature in air excess of 405 °C due to enhanced rigidity afforded by fluorenyl-adamantane groups. Accompanied by thermolysis content of PEG increasing from 0 to 20 wt %, the density of porous PI films decreased, and the corresponding porosity grew significantly from 0 to 11.48%. Depending on porosity, the dielectric constant and dielectric loss of porous PI films significantly declined from 2.89 to 2.37 and from 0.050 to 0.021, respectively. 摘要:为了探究不同镁含量对非调质钢中组织和硫化物形态、尺寸、分布及成分的影响,采用蔡司金相显微镜、扫描电子显微镜、小样电解等方法,分析了经高温电阻炉冶炼不同镁添加量的49MnVS3非调质钢。结果表明,由于镁蒸气压较高,在实验室冶炼中大量挥发,导致钢中镁的实际平均收得率仅为310%;镁的质量分数为0~22×10-6时,随着镁的质量分数的增加,钢中硫化物形态由Ⅱ类逐渐向Ⅰ类、Ⅲ类转变;钢中硫化物尺寸增大,硫化物的分布均匀性得到显著改善;钢中复合夹杂物比例明显增加,但MnS的比例出现下降;形成了细小弥散的氧化物,增加了奥氏体形核质点,具有细化组织的趋势。 相似文献

The porous Fe2TiO5 particles are successfully synthesized through a facile one step solution combustion method. The Fe2TiO5 negative materials exhibit remarkable electrochemical performance with discharge capacities of 371.4?mAh g?1 at the 100 th cycle, and display promising rate stability with discharge capacities 76.6?mAh·g?1 at a high current density of 3.2?A?g?1. In addition, the mechanism of electrochemistry reaction is illustrated by the CV, raman and EIS measurements, the irreversible capacity mainly causes from the irreversible lithium insertion at 1.8?V. Thin-wall diamond trepanning bits are extensively used for processing hard and brittle materials such as engineering ceramics. However, it is difficult to achieve high-efficiency processing of engineering ceramics at a constant feed speed, because of high dynamic compressive strength, high hardness, and low density of engineering ceramics. In this study, a novel composite diamond bit combining sintering and brazing has been designed, along with the low-frequency axial vibration technology, to realize the continuous hole processing of engineering ceramics. Drilling experiments have been conducted on Al2O3 and SiC engineering ceramics with a constant feed speed. The variation of axial force, micromorphology of hole wall surface drilled, as well as the method of removing nesting during the drilling process were analyzed. According to the results, the novel composite diamond bit fabricated by combining sintering and brazing, can achieve the continuous hole processing of engineering ceramics at a constant feed speed, including Al2O3 and SiC. Compared to the conventional drilling (CD), the low-frequency axial vibration drilling (LFVD) can significantly reduce the axial force, and produce fewer plastic scratches on the hole wall surface drilled. In particular, the automatic blanking ratio approaches to 100% by LFVD, and only about 73.58% by CD. It can be concluded that LFVD technology can be used to realize continuous hole processing of engineering ceramics. The research results achieved in this study show that the drilling machinability of engineering ceramics by LFVD and novel composite diamond bit is good. Accordingly, this study provides a useful reference for continuous processing or batch production of engineering ceramics at a constant feed speed. 相似文献
